1. On the last day in the village, BLUElab student members, including team leader Sita Syal (first left) and Guatemalan women weavers test a prototype of a Woven Wind Turbine model in a Guatemalan village of Nueva Santa Catarina Ixtahuacán.  University of Michigan students are designing a wind turbine that uses locally weaved material for wind blades. The students hope that local women in Guatemala will be able to use current weaving skills to generate income and electricity.  Nueva Santa Catarina Ixtahuacán.  Wednesday, March 2,  2011.
