1. Local kids play in the yard of the Tepaz-Lopez family in Nueva Santa Catarina Ixtahuacán in Guatemala. BLUElab student members work here with Guatemalan women weavers on Woven Wind Turbine project.  University of Michigan students are designing a wind turbine that uses locally weaved material for wind blades. The students hope that local women in Guatemala will be able to use current weaving skills to generate income and electricity.  Nueva Santa Catarina Ixtahuacán.  Tuesday, March 1,  2011.
